They are not databases. They are not search engines. They are not magic. They are software with specific strengths and real limits, and most of the course is about learning where those strengths stop and those limits start.

How long does the course take?

Most people finish in four to six hours of reading spread over a week or two. Every lesson is short and self-contained, so you can pick it up and put it down without losing your place.

Do I need any technical background?

No. The course is written for people with no programming or machine-learning background. If you can use a web browser and write an email, you can take this course.
