What a lesson looks like
Short. Plain-spoken. Every lesson has a few self-check questions so you can tell whether the idea landed before you move on.
Lesson 1 · What AI actually is
It's not a robot, and it's not a search engine.
Modern AI tools are software that has learned patterns from large amounts of text (and code, and images) so that, given a new input, they can produce an output that looks like the kind of thing a human would write. They are not databases. They are not search engines. They are not magic. They are software with specific strengths and real limits, and most of the course is about learning where those strengths stop and those limits start.
Excerpt from Lesson 1. Each full lesson runs about five minutes of reading plus a handful of self-check questions.
A credential that says you finished the course
Pass a 20-question final test and you earn a shareable Course Completion credential with a public verification URL, a PDF for your records, and a one-click “Add to LinkedIn profile” link.
20 questions, scenario-based

Course Completion, not Proficiency Certification
This credential says you finished the AI at Work and Home course. It is not the AI Proficiency Certification, which is a separate scenario-based exam designed to test judgment cold, without study. If your goal is a resume-grade proficiency credential, take that test instead. If your goal is to actually learn to use AI well first, start here.
Questions, answered
How long does the course take?
Most people finish in four to six hours of reading spread over a week or two. Every lesson is short and self-contained, so you can pick it up and put it down without losing your place.
Do I need any technical background?
No. The course is written for people with no programming or machine-learning background. If you can use a web browser and write an email, you can take this course.
What happens after I buy?
We email you a secure link within a minute or two of payment. Click it, sign in (or create a free account), and you land on the course overview page with all 14 lessons unlocked.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the course isn't for you, email support within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. Refunds after the 14-day window are reviewed case by case.
What's the difference between this and the AI Proficiency Certification?
The certification is a 40-question scenario-based exam designed to test AI judgment cold, with no study required. This course teaches you how to use AI well, and the Course Completion credential proves you finished. They're different products for different goals.
Can my company buy this for a team?
For teams of 10 or more, get in touch about volume pricing and bulk access. Otherwise, each purchase covers one person.
